Disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
In plain terms, as the FTC requires: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something — a charger from a retailer, for instance — we may earn a commission. The price you pay is unchanged.
Where they appear
Affiliate links appear on charger comparison pages and product mentions, styled as buttons like "Check current price." Pages carrying them also show an inline disclosure near the top. Quote-request links, when present, may be referral links to installer marketplaces and are labeled the same way.
What they never touch
- Rebate and permit data — sourced from official pages, never from anyone who pays us.
- Comparison verdicts — every charger page lists cons, and we recommend checking your utility's approved list before any purchase, even when that steers you away from a product we link.
- Rankings — commission rates play no role in ordering or verdicts.
When no affiliate relationship exists for a product, the buttons simply don't render — we don't fill the gap with lower-quality alternatives that happen to pay.
The broader revenue picture (ads, sponsorships) lives at how we make money. Questions: [email protected].
